Season Swiss Baked Chicken


This was the first thing I ever made for my wife on our first Valentine’s Day together.  When choosing which wine to use try a blush or lighter red wine and it is a pretty pinkish red (romantic.)  If you use a dark red wine it will be more purple.  Ceasar salad and roasted garlic parmesan potatoes make great side dishes to Season Swiss Baked Chicken.


Season Swiss Baked Chicken


– 1 Can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
– 1/2 Cup Red Wine
– 6 Slices Swiss Cheese (thinly sliced)
– 2 Cups Italian Bread Crumbs (can also use crushed croutons)
– 6 Boneless skinless chicken breasts


– Place chicken in a greased pan
– In bowl combine condensed soup and wine
– Pour mixture over chicken
– Place one slice of cheese over each breast
– Cover the top with bread crumbs
– Bake uncovered at 350* for 35-40 minutes (until juices run clear)
