Tasher’s Favorite Crunchy Ramen Noodle Salad











Try this easy budget friendly Crunchy Ramen Noodle Salad Recipe.  Ramen noodles have been known for years as the “I am broke food,” just because you may need to be frugal doesn’t mean it has to taste bad. You can jazz up Ramen Noodles in many different and stick to a budget friendly price. They only cost ten to fifteen cents a package when they are on sale at most supermarkets. We will continue to add delicious Ramen Noodle recipes as we find them.




  • 1 package Chicken flavored Ramen Noodles (crushed)
  • 1  16 oz. package Cole Slaw mix with red cabbage for extra color
  • 1/4 Chopped Red Onion
  • 1 Large Avocado chopped
  • 1/3 Cup Roasted Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Slivered Almonds
  • 1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1/3 Cup Grated Carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. Green Onion (chopped)
  • 2 grilled chicken breasts chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey or 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Cider, Rice Wine or White Vinegar
  • 1/2 Ramen Noodle Seasoning Packet



In a large bowl, whisk together the vinegar, Olive Oil, Honey/Sugar, and Seasoning Packet. Next, add Cole Slaw Mix, Carrots, Red Onions, Avocado, and crushed dry Ramen Noodles to the bowl. Toss slaw with the dressing and top with Green onion, Sunflower Seeds and Almonds.

Of course, I am barely scratching the surface here. Ramen is probably one of the cheapest foods in the grocery store, with a little imagination, it can be one of the most versatile staples in your pantry.
