Veggie-Pizza Dipping Sauce

  • 1 box 26 ounces strained tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup other vegetable puree (like carrot, spinach, or squash)
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dried parsley
  • Garnish with fresh oregano

Mix all ingredients together and warm in the microwave.  Use homemade bread sticks or store bought.  With the lycopene, vitamin C, vitamin, A, and potassium, tomato sauce is a fabulous way to get vital nutrients in your kids.  Plus, who doesn’t like a yummy and delicious bread stick!
