While preparing for any date, one important task is deciding what to wear. Of course, you should dress appropriately for the activity in a dignified manner. Something many people don’t consider is keeping track of what they wore and when. You may think I’m being silly right now. How would you feel if this happened to? During the fifth date, you realize the shirt you are wearing was worn on the first and third date with them. They might wonder if you own any other clothes!
To make it a little easier, I have picked out a few specific outfits based on activity types. One example is my first date dress. Any date where it is appropriate to wear dress, I wear this one. The black dress is sleeveless but easily works with a jacket. I can wear it just about any time of day, season or weather condition.
Keeping a clothing log will also assist you in dressing for success. They are very easy to make but have a different log for each person you are trying to impress. On the top of the page, put the person’s name. Have three columns under their name, the left is the calendar date, the middle column the activity, and in the far right list what you wore.
This is a little trick that has served me well not only in dating but in my professional life as well.
