It was a hell of a day with a long and argument filled build up. Followed by a long and argument filled time-frame while I was looking for a new place to live. Without going too much into it I can tell you that our situation was fairly typical in many ways. We weren’t satisfied, she started going out more and more. She Read more [...]

50/50 Coin Toss Healthy Co-Parenting

By Gretchen Schiller “Daddy!” Ana Lu squealed a nanosecond after walking into our apartment as she looked straight ahead, seeing our mini-Christmas tree, one ornament hung up on it, her favorite. She made a beeline directly for the tree and reached her little hand out, running her fingers over the ornament. A grin crossed my face. I knew that was the perfect place to hang it, I thought. Feeling completely content with a hint of smug. A round ceramic ornament with a photo of Charles Read more [...]

It is Good to be Prepared but….

Liz was enjoyable to be around. The Parents Without Partners lead lady called me a few weeks after the restaurant meeting with the six women to see if I was still available, because she had a good friend who was very classy and had broken up with her boyfriend, and she called to see if I was interested. Her old boyfriend was still on her mind, Read more [...]

The ratio of available girls to available guys is easily 10:1. One woman told me that most of the guys out there are married or broken or gay. Dating Read more [...]
