300th Divorce Coping Tip of the Day

Tracey cup 2

This is actually the 300th Divorce Coping Tip of the Day that I’ve written.

I think the essence of today’s sentiment would like to encourage you to take one day at a time. If I’d thought for one minute that I’d even be able to fill 300 slots with ideas and advice on getting through divorce, I’d have stumbled at the first block.

Take all of your best intentions and convert them into bite-sized chunks, be they carving a route through a day filled with more angst than you can shake a stick at, or just going shopping and cooking supper.

If you squint to see the light that signifies the end of your divorce, you are likely to feel sore disappointment and frustration. They take as long as they take and the best thing you can do is try to let go of marking the time, or your head will look like a prisoner’s calendar, scratched onto the wall on the inside of your mental cell.
