“What’s wrong with me?”
We are not broken…we do not need to be fixed…
The only thing we may need to fix is how we think about ourselves…how we speak about ourselves…how we act toward ourselves…
…and what exactly does that mean?!?!?
It means…don’t interpret something that doesn’t go according to plan to mean we messed up, or we’re not good enough, or as some sort of punishment for misdeeds (in this or other lifetimes)… Not everything goes according to plan… Not every relationship that begins with moonlight and roses lasts forever
Sooooooo….let’s not think a relationship ended because we’re not worthy or loveable…Let’s not indulge in conversations where we’re putting ourselves down because someone left us, and let’s not act as if we’re not valuable because someone else doesn’t value us.
There’s always room for self improvement…there are always opportunities to learn and to grow.
Go for it! …but, in the meantime, do not not not think less of yourself because you’ve had a setback or have not yet accomplished all you want in life.
Think of yourself…speak of yourself…act toward yourself as the beautiful work in progress that you are. Stop asking, “What’s wrong with me?” and, instead, let’s pose the question, “What’s right with me?”…AND THEN….let’s answer that question with a long looooong list!!!!!!!
